Breena is the owner of Breena Hayman, Inc and specializes in myofunctional therapy and speech and language therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She is a Licensed Speech Language-Pathologist with the state of CA, 1999. She received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Redlands, CA. She has over 25 years’ experience in San Diego County in a variety of settings including Rady’s Children’s Hospital, Poway School District, San Diego City Schools, and Private Practice.
Breena is trained in Talk Tools, Prompt Therapy, and The Kaufman Method to treat children with apraxia and other motor speech planning impairments. Breena utilizes a variety of approaches to treat children with Autism and related disorders including PECS, TEACCH, SCERTS, DIR/Floortime, Social Stories, Visuals, and a variety of sensory based techniques.
Breena is a board Certified Myofunctional Therapist for the treatment of oral and facial muscles as they relate to speech, dentition, chewing, swallowing and physical health.
